Troubleshooting issues with the Kirio apps.

Reminder

  • Removing then re-installing the app will cause loss of all your paired Kirio systems. You will need to re-pair with the Kirio while on site.
  • By default, the App Store automatically updates your apps including the Kirio app. We advise you to keep the default setting for auto-updates.
  • Updating the app is the best way to stay current with bug fixes and new features.

Apple iOS devices

Install the Kirio app

  1. To install the Kirio app, please go to the App Store.
  2. In App Store, search for Kirio and then select install.
  3. Follow the prompt from your respective Apple device.
  4. Once installed please follow the Kirio pairing instructions.

Update the Kirio app

By default, updates occur automatically. To check if a new version is available, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the App Store and search for Kirio.
  2. If any updates are available it will display a note next to the Kirio icon.
  3. Tap to update and follow the prompt from your respective Apple device.
  4. You do not need to re-pair with the Kirio system after updating the app.

Remove the Kirio app

Removing the Kirio app will also remove all paired homes you have. You can easily re-pair by following the pairing process.

  1. Depending on your device, long press the Kirio icon.
  2. Then tap on the delete function marked with an "x".

Android devices

Install the Kirio app

  1. To install the Kirio app, please go to the Play Store.
  2. In Play Store, search for Kirio and then select install.
  3. Follow any prompt regarding a password or verification. The app will then download and install.
  4. Open the Kirio app and follow pairing instructions.

Update the Kirio app

By default, updates occur automatically. To check if a new version is available, follow these steps:

  1. In Play Store, go to the 'My app & games' section found in the menu.
  2. Go to the 'Updates' section. If any updates are available the app be listed here.
  3. Tap 'Update' next to the Kirio icon.
  4. You do not need to re-pair with the Kirio system after updating the app.

Remove the Kirio app

Removing the Kirio app will also remove all paired homes you have. You can easily re-pair by following the pairing process.

  1. Depending on your device, long press the Kirio icon.
  2. While still pressing the icon, drag it to the top of the screen where it says 'Remove' or a trashcan icon.


Please note that if you were already paired and still have a valid account on your Kirio device, your previous access will be restored.

To simply remove the home you are currently paired to, go to "Change location" in the menu of the app and swipe to delete just the home.
